2016-2017 cityWILD Interns

dom-photoDominique Fowler • Support Services Intern 2016-2017 •
While growing up in Altadena, California, Dominique had little to no exposure to the outdoors. However, when she joined the cityWILD team in the summer of 2016, it didn’t take her long to fall in love and join in with the excitement of the outdoors. Dominique is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling Psychology at Johnson & Wales University and working at cityWILD as a Support Services Intern. In the future, she hopes to take what she learned at cityWILD to continue to help youth in their development and empowerment through the use of experiential education and counseling.

Maddie is joining the cityWILD team as an intern for the 2016-2017 school year. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Maddie moved to Boulder to pursue a degree in Sociology at The University of Colorado. This fall, Maddie started school for her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Denver. With a strong background in working with youth through various sports, Maddie is looking forward to transitioning into outdoor experiential activities. Although she loves to hike, mountain bike, slackline, paddleboard and skateboard, Maddie enjoys winter the most, when she is snowboarding through the Colorado mountains.

Originally from Rockville, MD, Morgan came to Denver to complete her Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Denver, where she’ll begin this fall. In 2015, Morgan received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish. She is an avid hiker, looking to work her way through Colorado’s many fourteeners. Morgan is very excited to be getting the opportunity to work with the staff and students at CityWILD this year.
