2011-2012 cityWILD Interns
Paul Benavides, Metro State University –
Paul is originally from Dallas, TX. He began working in Denver in 2005, and moved here permanently in January 2007. Raised in a small west Texas town Paul always had a city heart. He loves the mountains and landscape of trees and immediately fell in love with Colorado. Paul is a U.S.A.F military veteran and has many years experience as a Youth Pastor. Currently Paul is a student at Metro State studying in Social Work. He is extremely excited to bring the skills from school and apply them to cityWILD. Paul has run several half marathons, loves musicals, the artist Sade, and Cuchara, CO. Paul sums up his philosophy on life in a quote he wrote in 1999, “Tis free to live in the truth within thyself and be alone. Tis enslavement to live a lie for others and be lonely.”
